PROMISE (NCT04972201) is an observational study sponsored by Cancer Institute and Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences with Guangzhou Burning Rock Dx Co., Ltd. It evaluated three prototype assays (cell-free DNA mutation, cell-free DNA methylation and microRNA expression) for early detection of several cancers, to choose which to develop.
The registry record, read on 29 October 2026, gives its status as completed, with 2,305 participants enrolled, a start on 1 June 2021 and primary completion on 31 March 2022.
