Adela, founded on cell-free methylated DNA immunoprecipitation work from Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, is developing a test for 20 pre-selected cancer types (company release, 26 May 2026) alongside its residual disease test. The CAMPERR case-control study (NCT05366881) is training and validating the platform across 20 cancer types. The only performance reported is a company conference figure: an interim AACR 2023 training readout across 12 cancer types with an area under the curve of 0.94 (0.92 at stage I), without sensitivity or specificity. No peer-reviewed multi-cancer paper, regulatory status or price was found.
Enriches every methylated fragment of cell-free DNA without bisulphite conversion and classifies the genome-wide pattern, to detect cancer and tell cancer types apart.
