Solu Therapeutics makes molecules that mark disease-driving cells for destruction by the immune system. Its lead, STX-0712, targets the abnormal monocytes of chronic myelomonocytic leukaemia and is in an early trial that has added acute myeloid leukaemia.
Solu Therapeutics, of Boston, was established in May 2023 after GSK granted it an exclusive licence to the CyTAC (Cytotoxicity Targeting Chimera) platform, according to the company; it also has a TicTAC (Therapeutic Index Control Targeting Chimera) platform. CyTAC molecules link cell surface markers on pathogenic cells to an ADCC-enhanced platform antibody. Its lead, STX-0712, is a CCR2-CyTAC designed to eliminate CCR2-positive malignant monocytes; the first patient was dosed in a two-part phase 1 trial in resistant or refractory chronic myelomonocytic leukaemia and other haematological cancers (NCT06950034) in April 2025, it received FDA Fast Track designation in CMML in May 2026, and dosing in an AML cohort began in October 2026. The company debuted with USD 31 million in seed funding in August 2023 and closed a USD 41 million Series A with Eli Lilly and Company, Biovision Ventures, Pappas Capital, Hengdian Group Capital and The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Therapy Acceleration Program joining Longwood Fund, DCVC Bio, Santé Ventures, Astellas Venture Management and Alexandria Venture Investments. Its first registered cancer trial, NCT06950034, was posted on ClinicalTrials.gov in April 2025.
