Zymeworks

Zymeworks, based in Vancouver and listed as ZYME, invented zanidatamab, the HER2 bispecific antibody, and a hydrophilic topoisomerase 1 ADC platform. Its Azymetric platform produced zanidatamab, on which it earns royalties, and its own pipeline includes ZW191, a folate receptor alpha ADC that reported a 52 percent response rate in pretreated ovarian and endometrial cancer at AACR 2026, and ZW251 against GPC3. In September 2026 Zymeworks completed its acquisition of Theravance Biopharma, a company outside oncology, for 17 dollars a share in cash plus a contingent value right tied to ampreloxetine, and in October 2026 it licensed worldwide rights to ZW209, a trispecific T-cell engager against DLL3, to Roche for 55 million dollars upfront, a deal awaiting US antitrust clearance. OnCo links it to biliary tract cancer and HER2-positive breast cancer, to the zanidatamab drug record and to Zai Lab.
