Precirix, of Brussels, developed radiopharmaceuticals built on small single-domain antibody fragments that carry a radioactive isotope to HER2-positive cancers. Its lead, CAM-H2, was tested in a phase 1/2 trial in HER2-positive breast, gastric and gastro-oesophageal cancer that ended early after 13 patients, and the company went into voluntary liquidation in December 2025.
Precirix was a clinical-stage Brussels biotechnology company developing precision radiopharmaceuticals in oncology based on single-domain antibody (sdAb) targeting. Its lead candidate CAM-H2 is a HER2-directed radiopharmaceutical that entered a phase 1/2 trial, initially in Canada, evaluating safety, tolerability and efficacy in HER2-positive metastatic breast, gastric and gastro-oesophageal cancer, including patients with brain metastases. Patients first receive an imaging dose to confirm HER2 expression in lesions before therapeutic dosing. In June 2023 Precirix announced production of a first clinical trial batch of CAM-H2 at Evergreen Theragnostics in New Jersey to support expansion of the trial to the United States. The trial's ClinicalTrials.gov record (NCT04467515), last updated in May 2025, lists it as terminated, with sites in Canada and the United States, 13 patients enrolled, a completion date of December 2023 and the reason given as a strategic sponsor decision. The Belgian company register records Precirix NV, registered in Jette, Brussels, as in voluntary dissolution and liquidation since 17 December 2025, with a liquidator appointed from that date: the company is being wound down.
