Pairidex makes a personalised blood test that tracks the gene fusion driving a person's leukaemia, so their doctors can see how well treatment is working and spot a return of the disease early.
Pairidex is a St. Louis company developing FusionMRD, a personalised droplet digital PCR assay that detects the gene fusion driving an individual patient's blood cancer, for monitoring treatment response and long-term surveillance of measurable residual disease. It starts with fusion-driven acute myeloid leukaemia and runs the test in a CLIA-certified, CAP-accredited laboratory. Andrew Young is founder and chief scientific officer. In February 2026 it announced a pre-seed lead investment from BioGenerator Ventures, and in July 2026 it closed an oversubscribed seed round bringing in USD 4.89 million to support the commercial launch of FusionMRD; the company described the seed investor only as a large, publicly held strategic company.
