Manas AI is a drug discovery company co-founded by the oncologist and author Siddhartha Mukherjee and LinkedIn co-founder Reid Hoffman. It uses AI and computer chemistry to design new medicines, starting with breast cancer, prostate cancer and lymphoma.
Manas AI launched in January 2025 as a full-stack, AI-driven drug discovery company co-founded by Siddhartha Mukherjee and Reid Hoffman, using AI models, computational chemistry and molecular docking from target identification through to clinical trials, across small molecules, antibodies and siRNA. Its launch release named triple-negative breast cancer, prostate cancer and lymphoma as the first indications, with Microsoft providing Azure computing and AI expertise. The USD 24.6 million seed was led by General Catalyst with Greylock; a USD 26 million seed extension in September 2025 added The General Partnership, Wisdom Ventures, Blitzscaling Ventures, Westbound Equity Partners and Mosaic Ventures, when Ujjwal Singh joined as co-founder and chief technology officer. In January 2026 it announced an integration with Schrödinger's physics-based discovery platform.
