Jacobio Pharmaceuticals is a Beijing cancer-drug developer listed in Hong Kong whose KRAS G12C inhibitor glecirasib was approved in China in 2025 for previously treated lung cancer, and whose pan-KRAS inhibitor JAB-23E73 is licensed to AstraZeneca.
Jacobio Pharmaceuticals, listed in Hong Kong, develops targeted cancer drugs aimed mainly at the KRAS pathway. In May 2025 China's drug regulator approved its KRAS G12C inhibitor glecirasib for non-small-cell lung cancer with a KRAS G12C mutation after at least one earlier systemic therapy, based on a pivotal single-arm phase 2 trial in China; the Greater China rights are licensed to Shanghai Allist Pharmaceuticals. In December 2025 it licensed its pan-KRAS inhibitor JAB-23E73 to AstraZeneca for the world outside mainland China, with joint development and co-commercialisation in mainland China, and it received the USD 100 million upfront payment in March 2026. On ClinicalTrials.gov it sponsors 6 interventional cancer trials (phase 1/2) of JAB-30355, JAB-2485, JAB-23E73 and JAB-8263 in solid tumours, including ER-positive and triple-negative breast cancer and tumours with ARID1A mutations.
Glecirasib is Jacobio's KRAS G12C inhibitor, approved in China in 2024 for previously treated non-small cell lung cancer with that mutation, and in a phase 3 trial against docetaxel.
