CoRegen develops a cell therapy made from a patient's own regulatory T cells, immune cells that normally calm the immune system, edited so that they help it attack cancer instead. Its first product is about to enter an early trial in breast and prostate cancer.
CoRegen, Inc. is based in Houston, Texas. Its platform knocks out a single gene, SRC-3, in regulatory T cells (Tregs) so that they stop suppressing anti-tumour immunity. CRG-150 is an autologous, gene-edited Treg cell therapy; the company says the FDA notified it in June 2026 that its CRG-150 study may proceed, and the phase 1/2a trial NCT07730125, with Baylor College of Medicine as collaborator, is planned in relapsed or refractory HR-positive HER2-negative breast cancer, triple-negative breast cancer and prostate cancer. The company's news page lists a July 2025 financing of more than 93 million US dollars and a March 2026 report of a further 13.5 million dollars. Its first registered cancer trial, NCT07730125, was posted on ClinicalTrials.gov in July 2026.
