## Summary

Abbott Molecular's UroVysion (FDA 2001 and 2005) and Vysis FISH probes are long-standing oncology diagnostics. In 2025-26 Abbott moved into cancer screening: it holds US commercial rights to Freenome's SimpleScreen CRC (approved July 2026), and it agreed in November 2025 to acquire Exact Sciences (Cologuard, Oncotype DX) for 105 dollars a share, a total equity value of about $21 billion, completing the purchase on 23 March 2026.
